Three facts I learned were that people around the world spend more than 250 billion dollars on gels, sprays and pastes and companies test them on animals, like rats, rabbits, dogs, cats and guinea pigs. Also, there are a number of alternatives to testing products on animals, like people donating tissue samples, testing on artificial skin and body parts in a lab, or simply using ingredients that are already known to be safe. Two understandings I have are animals don’t deserve to be hurt and they are doing a good thing about banning it. A question I’m left with is why do people test products on animals not people? click here to see the BtN I watched.
